Tree tent

Campsite Kapinovski Monastery has the pleasure to offer its guests the unique tree tent. We are one of the few campsites in Europe and the only one in Bulgaria, where you can experience this new type of camping trend.

The idea of the tree tents was conceived in 2010 as a creation of the American architect Alex Sherly Smith and his team, who were inspired by the idea to invent a mobile house that allows the travellers to sleep on the tree branches. This type of tent creates a real revolution in camping, because it is no longer necessary to worry if your terrain occurs to be not as flat as you wish or if it starts raining and the ground is wet. Besides that all tents have protective net that keeps away insects and unwelcome forest guests. In addition the tent is equipped with special cover in case of rainy conditions or simply if you seek privacy. Our “tree house” reaches up to 1.5m above the grond and provide an amazing way for you and your friends to experience a completely new sense of freedom.

Currently, we offer only one tent from this type with maximum capacity for two adults + two kids and it is awaiting to accommodate you. The tent is available for hire on overnight basis and offers ideal way of either solo relaxation or such with children or a rather more romantic experience with your loved one in the arms of the nature and under the tender blinking light from the stars. Please note that you should carry your own sleeping equipments as we do not provide such for the tent. The tree tent is not recommended for hire in conditions of heavy rain or strong wind.
